Anum Group, already established as a prominent entity in the Ship Breaking, Textiles, and Steel industries, ventured into the construction sector in 1983 under the leadership of Group Chairman Muhammad Shafi Zindani. Their inaugural project, Sana Terrace, marked their entry into the construction industry

During the 1990s, the focus for the group was on constructing high-rise residential and commercial buildings. The group successfully completed four residential and three commercial projects on Main Shahra-e-Faisal during this period.
